The design is resistant to scaling and dirt accumulation, provides accurate flow measurement, allows for bidirectional filling and flushing, and has a nominal pressure of PN25. These are just some of the features of the AB-QM 4.0 pressure-independent control valves (PICV) from Danfoss, which are finally available in the Hydronicpack 6.0 library.

Nowadays, it is hard to imagine a water heating or cooling installation without PICV valves, which increase the energy efficiency of heating and cooling systems. The Danfoss AB-QM 4.0 is intended for end devices such as fan coil units, heating and cooling ceilings, or cooling beams.

Equipped with actuators, the valves precisely regulate room temperature and improve the thermal comfort of users.

The installation instructions for the library can be found HERE.

When equipped with the NovoCon S digital actuator, the AB-QM 4.0 valves can be used in HVAC 4.0 systems for smart buildings with Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.

Thanks to the PREMIUM Technical Support service, components of the new Danfoss library as well as other components available in FLM can be easily exported to .ifc and rvt formats.
