1. Possibility to spread out installations in single building over several drawings
Fluid Desk is working on a tool, with the proposed name of ”Project Explorer”, which will allow continuity of installation designs to be maintained across several separate drawings depicting a single building (with the different floors of the building being erected according to separate drawings), and in consequence, facilitate pressure loss calculations across the whole installation. Consisting of a database that contains all information about FDBES elements placed in multiple drawings of the given building, Project Explorer will allow for viewing, editing and saving element data regardless of whether corresponding drawings are opened or closed.
2. Automatic generation of system scheme diagrams
Smokepack is the first module which will implement the automatic generation of schematic views of the installation (see diagram). In the first version, the schematic view will be generated for single, individual cases and will not be updated dynamically. The system scheme diagram must be generated anew in order for changes to be reflected. Generation of this view will also be implemented in Ventpack and in all future modules.
3. Manufacturer libraries
Implementing the capability to update manufacturer libraries with a single element from the offer presented online constitutes a great challenge for Fluid Desk. During the designing process, users would have the possibility to download files containing a single elements directly form a server operated by Fluid Desk or individual manufacturers. In a single step, the libraries stored on disk would be updated with this new element, so the user could continue designing immediately using the newly downloaded element. See also:

5. FDBES for AutoCAD LT
Fluid Desk already found a solution that enables FDBES to operate with AutoCAD LT.
FDBES for AutoCAD LT is now available.
6. AutoFDBES - FDBES bundled with CAD environment
To better meet the needs of our customers, we are considering the feasibility of offering FDBES integrated with its own CAD environment. Such a solution would be the most effective formula for providing a complete CAD package to every designing office looking for a comprehensive tool for designing sanitary, ventilation and air-conditioning installations.
