Step 1. Defining the project.
Ventpack 2.0 provides a tool to allow working with projects that include
multi-floor drawings, called "Project Explorer". Using this tool, the user may
design installation segments on each floor (in separate *.dwg files) after which
the program automatically calculates pressure losses and generates the list of
elements for the whole system. To define a building model it is enough to
write the number and width of floors and the height of each story into the "Table
of Stories". To complete the definition, you must assign to each story a
corresponding *.dwg file. Remember that architectural layouts must have the
same scale and the same "insertion point", drawings of floors should overlay
each other. For each drawing, select default libraries that will be used in
the functions automating the installation drawing process ("join element",
"continuous drawing", etc.).
