Errors
The height of ventilation grilles is larger than the height of the duct on which it placed.
Presently, maximum dimensions for elements attached to the side of ventilation ducts are not enforced. Thus, it is possible to attach an element that has larger dimensions than the ventilation duct. This error will be corrected in an upcoming service release.
The ventilator symbol does not indicate the correct airflow direction.
During drafting, the ventilator symbol on the side of elements – a triangle in a circle – can sometimes indicate incorrect airflow direction. It is enough to use the “Rotate element” function in order to correct this situation, however, starting from the next service release, designers will not have to worry about correctly placing of ventilators – it will be done automatically.
Typing a parameter value that is greater than the maximum allowed in the "Element properties" window will cause the value to disappear.
Sometimes, while editing element parameters, typing a value higher than the maximum value for the given parameter causes the typed text disappear. The reason is improper refreshing of the editing window – the program recognizes and stores the modified value correctly as the maximum value, as can be checked by accepting changes and once again opening the modification window of the given element. This defect will be corrected in an upcoming service release.
Systems cannot be started by flexible ducts.
The flexible duct is most often used for connecting two existing elements, a situation correctly handled by the program. However, presently drawing of installations cannot be started by flexible ducts. An upcoming service release will remove this restriction.
The specification list can only be exported in Polish and English.
The Ventpack program is intended for designers who prepare documentation in different language versions. However, not all equipment manufacturers arrange translation of their libraries to all languages. For now, the general libraries are prepared only for these two languages: Polish and English. Translations to other languages will be added gradually as future versions of the program are released.
